Hydrogen Safety Monitoring System

JEAENG’s Hydrogen Safety Monitoring System is a real-time, predictive safety management platform that overcomes the limitations of conventional centralized control systems used in existing hydrogen refueling stations and production facilities. By integrating AI and IoT technologies, the system collects and processes key sensor data—such as pressure, hydrogen gas detection, flame detection, and vibration—in real time. It establishes a transparent safety ecosystem in which safety managers, operators, and the general public can all participate.

System Overview

1) IoT-Based Real-Time Monitoring
      - The platform expands conventional wired, explosion-proof sensor systems by enabling wireless aggregation and transmission of IoT sensor data from non–explosion-proof areas. - Key sensors include pressure sensors, hydrogen gas detectors, flame detectors, vibration sensors, and CCTV.
2) Data Processing and Disclosure Structure
      - Data collected by the IoT server is classified and shared according to user roles, such as safety managers, operators, and general users. - General users are provided with real-time video feeds and safety information to reduce public anxiety and enhance social acceptance. - Safety managers can leverage the data to shorten hazard detection time and utilize it for fault analysis and predictive maintenance.
AI-Based Predictive Maintenance Integration
- Collected data is processed into AI-trainable formats, enabling early detection of abnormal patterns, prediction of equipment failures, and proactive response.
